Meet the Team: CREMER Colombia
Raised in Colombia, Roberto Echeverría Botero (2nd from left) has been working at CREMER since 2014. He led the Hamburg Glycerine team and built successful businesses for CREMER in Brazil, Paraguay and Argentina before moving to Bogotá in spring 2021. As Managing Director for Latin America, he leads the production, trading and logistics activities on the continent.
María Alejandra Méndez López works as logistics coordinator in the glycerin business unit, providing support in the structuring and execution of the export operation from Colombia. She is also responsible for the administration of our Bogotá office. She studied in Colombia and France and has performed different functions in the administrative and financial departments of government entities such as the Congress of the Republic and the Unit for the Attention of Victims of the Armed Conflict in Colombia.
Jaime Leonardo Flórez Muñoz (right side of photo) is an industrial engineer and brings more than 25 years of experience in the oil and gas sector, upstream and downstream. He has worked as a crude oil trader, he managed the construction of the most modern oil refinery in the Caribbean and Andean region, and was responsible for the construction of the largest ethanol distillery in Colombia. At CREMER OLEO, he will continue to expand the successful ethanol business in Latin America.
Sebastián Echeverría Botero (standing) studied Political Science and Business Administration in Mannheim (Germany) and Austria. Over the past ten years, he has managed numerous business development projects for multinational companies. He was co-founder of a Berlin-based startup and chairman of an international social entrepreneurship organization. At CREMER Colombia S.A.S., he implements business intelligence solutions to optimize processes and take advantage of new market opportunities.
