CREMER OLEO at BiodieselBR Conference
During the month of November, several colleagues from the CREMER OLEO division participated in the largest and most important Biodiesel event in Latin America, the BiodieselBR Conference, which takes place annually in São Paulo, Brazil, and which in this edition counted with CREMER’s sponsorship.
On this occasion, the construction of the group's first industrial unit in Paraguay was announced, a biodiesel plant focused on serving the local market in that country and prospects for regional and international exports to the American and European markets. In addition, an important delegation of Paraguayan industrialists and authorities participated, including the Vice-Minister of Industry and Commerce who, in turn, had a panel to make a presentation about the Paraguayan market and the country's potential to become a regional reference in biofuels.
Our colleagues were able to discuss with important sectoral stakeholders the company's commitment in the energy transition and the importance of integrated solutions for products and co-products of the soy complex industry.
“CREMER has been operating in Latin America for many years, but we believe that the importance of the region for the strategic growth plan has never been so evident within the company. We are happy to contribute and participate in this process”, said Roberto Echeverría Botero, Managing Director Latin America of CREMER OLEO.
During the event, our Brazil Director, João Artur Manjabosco, also had the opportunity to participate in the official launch of the book "The transformative power of biofuels", organized by Mr. Donizete Tokarski. Donizete Tokarski is considered one of the most important experts on the subject, and we are very honored that Joao Manjabosco was able to contribute an article on "Biofuels in the World" to the book.
